What could be lovelier than receiving a bouquet that you can actually eat??? It is a nice idea, easy and very quick to do and doesn’t require special materials. So today, we are going to share you how we make a “CUPCAKE BOUQUET” – the QoH CC way
Here are the materials you will need:
Plastic cups (7oz or smaller), paper plate, coloured tissue paper, ribbon, scissors, clear cello tape and of course, your cupcakes (preferably muffin-size).
STEP 1:
Join the plastic cups together with clear cello tape to form the base for the bouquet. You can use more than 7 cups, depending on how big you want your bouquet to be. Put some cello tape under the cups and stick it to the paper plate. We suggest NOT to use stapler to join the cups for food safety reason. You wouldn’t want your customer to swallow a staple wire just in case, would you?
STEP 2:
Put some cello tape around your cups so it is easier to stick the tissue paper around it. As you can see in this project, we used 2 different shades of green tissue paper. This is where you can apply your creativity. You can use any material you can think of. Coloured cellophane is also a nice option. When you have covered your base, you can now tie a ribbon of your choice.
STEP 3:
Cut the tissue paper into big squares, in this project, we used 8x8in. Put them inside each cups. The tissue paper will prevent your cupcakes from sinking inside the cups in case they are big. Tadaa!
You now have your base ready and only needed to do one last step.
FINALE:
You can now arrange your cupcakes. You can also add florist cardette holders…and some glitters…and sprinkles..or lustre spray…or…okay you know what to do.
So there you go guys, easy and super quick to do, cheap materials yet look absolutely stunning. You will surely get a BIG hug from whoever you give this to. Guaranteed!
